My country still bleeds,
As the rest watch through screens. 
Many of us cannot return, 
But we have to watch our cities burn. 
Every night our tears are shed, 
As we count the children dead. 
Do you see what the government’s done, 
As they’re being supplied with gun after gun.
Everyone’s homes, along with their memories, 
His cold, and pitiless heart shows no boundaries. 
He doesn’t really care about the count,
As we all watch the bodies start to mount. 
Heaven gains hundreds of angels everyday,
But all we can do is pray.
As mothers lose their children, 
The only sound they want to hear is from a siren.
But no ambulance will come,
As the bodies turn numb.
Fathers carry their bleeding child,
As he adds them to the rest that are piled. 
Families are torn apart, 
Is it because some people have no heart?
So now all I ask from every reader,
If you ever think about this “leader”.
Think about the people he’s murdered,
Should this go on any further?
Help us spread the news around,
